JAN SPĚVÁČEK, DON´T SPLASH! (Necákej...!)

Jan Spevacek (1973), the graduate of Jiri Naceradsky art atelier at the Faculty of Fine Arts of VUT in Brno. Coming from the town of Teplice he decided to settle down in the city of Brno, where he devotes to his art work and to restore art pieces. He regularly exhibits in Czech Republic as well as abroad. He has been co-operating with Vltavin Gallery for a long time. He was represented by the gallery at the art fair ART Prague 2007. He is a member of the union of Prague Stuckism Movement. Slevaček belongs among the artists whose essential components of visual composition is formed on a figural basis. A landscape is his important source of inspiration. He has been attended to this theme mainly so far. In recent years he has put a detailed live background in this frame, the most often ducks, which attracted visitors of the fair of art. He worked out the cycle presented at Manes exhibition hall in Prague into the exhibition set with a title Dont´t splash!(Necákej!).
